Frequently Asked Questions

Do HVAC and electrical companies need a website?

Yes, even if most of your calls come from a truck decal, a referral, or your Google Business Profile. Before someone calls, especially for a bigger job like a system replacement or a panel upgrade, they check your site to confirm you're real, licensed, and cover their area. A missing, dead, or dated site loses that job to whoever answers next, even if you're the better contractor.

What's the difference between a website builder like GoDaddy or Wix and a custom-built site?

A DIY builder gets something online the same day and costs less upfront, and that's a real advantage if budget is the constraint. The tradeoffs: a generic template that looks like every other contractor site in your area, slower load times, and no one making sure the page is actually built around getting the phone to ring rather than just existing. A custom build costs more upfront and is designed around your specific service area and services from the first page.

How much does an HVAC or electrical company website cost?

Most HVAC and electrical sites fit the Growth package, $1,500 one-time, for up to 3 pages covering your service lineup, service-area coverage, and a quote-request flow. If you need more — multiple locations, a full service breakdown, or a financing program explained in detail — Pro covers up to 5 pages for $2,500. If you'd rather spread the cost out, the Website Subscription covers the same scope as Growth for $299 down + $75/mo, with an 18-month minimum. See full pricing at /services.

How long does it take to launch?

Quotes typically go out within one business day, and project kickoff usually starts within a week. From there, most projects go live in weeks, not months.

Can you add a financing or rebate promotion to the site?

Yes. If you offer financing, a manufacturer rebate, or a seasonal promotion, we build it into the homepage where people actually look for pricing information first, the same way we did for Clean Energy Systems' Duke Energy rebate program.

Do I need a separate page for every city or county I serve?

Not usually. One clear service-area page listing every town or county you cover works better than a dozen near-identical city pages — Google treats those as thin, duplicate content and can penalize them rather than reward them. If you genuinely serve a large, spread-out area with real differences, a few well-differentiated pages can make sense. We'll tell you honestly which situation you're in.

Can you show my Google reviews on the site?

Yes. We can pull your Google reviews directly onto the site, which builds trust before a visitor decides to call, and use review markup where appropriate so search engines can recognize the star rating too.

I already have a website — can you redesign it without losing my Google rankings?

Yes, that's exactly how we handle it. We map every page on your current site to its new equivalent and set up real 301 redirects, so the rankings and links pointing at your old pages carry over instead of resetting to zero.

Do you set up my Google Business Profile too?

We can. Google Business Profile setup and NAP (name, address, phone) consistency cleanup is available as a standalone add-on for $225 one-time, or bundled into ongoing Local SEO Launch & Growth if you want monthly management on top of it. See /services for details.

Can the site highlight 24/7 or same-day emergency service?

Yes, if it's true. We'll put real availability and emergency-service messaging front and center — we just won't manufacture urgency that isn't there. If you're not actually available 24/7, we'll find the honest version of that message that still gets the call.
